The number of services that were delivered to Kazakhstani citizens via e-Gov has reached 100 million. Thus, for the period of six months over 19 million of services were delivered.
Since 2010, Kazakhstani citizens can get public services online. This not only saves time hut also money of the citizens. For instance, to get a certificate of residence earlier, 3-5 days were needed whereas now it takes no more than 15 minutes.
It is possible to get public services online via e-Gov Portal, egov.kz mobile app, in Connection Point e-Gov corners and also, through public access stations that are placed in Citizen Service Centers. The number of services delivered via those channels reached 100 million.
“This is a good indicator and it means that people trust e-Gov. E-Gov popularity grows every year and if in 2012 we delivered more than 10 million services and in 2014 over 35 million for the current period of six months more than 19 million services were delivered” told Ruslan Yensebayev, the Chairman of the Board in National Information Technologies JSC.
Issuance of the certificate of residence is the most popular service of the Portal. It was issued more than 48 million times from the moment this service was first launched. The second place goes to the certificate on real estate, which was issued more than 17 million times over the same period. Certificate on pension accruals is also popular among citizens (more than 10 million).
NB: 215 services are available today on the eGov.kz Portal and aimed at various categories of citizens and representatives of businesses.
