“Public control of mobile communication quality” mobile service enables sending feedback on various malfunctions of mobile communication and problems connected with mobile internet straight to Communication, Informatization and Information Committee of Ministry for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Technical Service.
To use the service, it is necessary to download “Open dialog” application specially designed for the purpose of citizens` feedback forwarding to government agencies. The application is a part of “Open government” module of e-Gov portal.
“Feedback on mobile communication quality can be sent via “Public control” app without authorization and doesn`t depend on network signal availability or absence. Gathering of such parameters as geo-position, date and time are performed automatically and it is possible to send feedback using current location or the other one. Also, users can add additional information such as network technology, signal level and other data”, Ruslan Abdikalikov, the Head of Department for Control in the field of Communication and Informatization, told.
The application supports three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.
Currently, “Open dialog” app is available for the owners of Android platform smartphones only and by the end of the year it will become available for iOS and Windows.
“Now, the application is in beta testing and we’d really like to receive feedback and suggestions from users. Feedback can be left in Playmarket or in social media”, Ruslan Abdikalikov added.
Shortly, blog platform for government agencies’ executives will also be available in the app, using which citizens will be able to address their questions straight to ministers and akims via their mobile telephones.
