How to get the service online
- Sign in on the Portal and click "Order Service Online" button.
- Fill in an application and sign it using DS (digital signature). In the application, specify a personal account number (IBAN) opened in Kazpost JSC or a second-tier bank (Halyk Bank JSC, KazCommerceBank JSC).
- In your personal account (in "History of Obtained Services" section) familiarize with a notification on application processing status, which will be sent within the specified time.
The online service is delivered to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan upon reaching retirement age: 61 years for women, 63 years for men.
How to get the service at "Government for Citizens" Public Corporation (required documents):
A service recipient (or his/her representative based on a power of attorney)
- An application should be submitted when applying for the public service delivery.
- When applying for the assignment of pension payments from the Unified Pension Savings Fund, basic pension and old-age pension, one application is submitted.
- An identity document (passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, national ID of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, certificate of a stateless person, residence permit of a foreigner, candas certificate issued prior to provision of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan) (for identification).
- A marriage certificate (certificate of civil status registration) or a divorce certificate or an extract from vital record about marriage (if any).
- Documents confirming the length of an applicant's participation in the pension system, i.e.confirming an applicant's work experience before January 1, 1998:
- an employment record;
- certificates issued by archives, electronic copies of archival documents certified by a digital signature of an authorized employee of the state archive or departmental archive or from the place of work in the absence of an employment record or its being damaged, absence of relevant entries in an employment record, presence of corrections, inaccuracies, discrepancies.
If available, you can also submit
- An academic certificate.
- Military ID card or certificate issued by the Defense Affairs Department.
- Birth certificates for children (an extract from a vital record on birth or a certificate of registration of an act of civil status issued by the civil registration authorities).
- Certificate of rehabilitation issued by the prosecution authorities in accordance with Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Rehabilitation of Victims of Mass Political Repressions".
- Certificate on participation in military actions issued by the military commissariat.
- A court decision confirming the fact and the period of care after a disabled person of first group, a single disabled person of the second group and an elderly pensioner in need of outside help, an elderly person who has reached the age of eighty, a disabled child under the age of eighteen.
- A document confirming that a spouse of an employee of an institution located in the territory of the Soviet Union, institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an international organization resides abroad.
- A document confirming the residence of a spouse of a military serviceman, an employee of a special government agency in areas where there was no possibility of employment in the specialty.
- A document confirming employment in the country of departure of ethnic Kazakhs who arrived to the Republic of Kazakhstan for permanent residence in their historical homeland.
To confirm that stay-at-home mother takes care of young children, one of the following documents is submitted (depending on availability)
- ID documents for children.
- A marriage certificate (certificate of civil status registration) or a divorce certificate or an extract from vital record about marriage (in case of change of surname) of children;
- Secondary school certificate for children.
- A diploma of graduation from a secondary special or higher educational institution or a certificate from an educational institution confirming the education of children.
- A certificate or notification on death of children (or a vital record of death or a certificate of registration of civil status issued by the civil registration authorities).
- A document confirming undergoing of military service for children.
- Documents confirming that stay-at-home mother take care of young children: birth certificates of children (an extract from a vital record on birth or a certificate of registration of an act of civil status issued by the civil registration authorities).
One of the following is also submitted, if available
- ID documents for children.
- A marriage certificate (certificate of civil status registration) or a divorce certificate or an extract from vital record about marriage (in case of change of surname) of children.
- Secondary school certificate for children.
- A diploma of graduation from a secondary special or higher educational institution or a certificate from an educational institution confirming the education of children.
- A certificate or notification on death of children (or a vital record of death or a certificate of registration of civil status issued by the civil registration authorities).
- A document confirming undergoing of military service for children.
- A court decision confirming the fact that stay-at-home father takes care of young children, including a period of actual care.
However, the specified period is not counted in the length of participation in the pension system for a child's mother.
- A court decision confirming the fact and the period of care after a disabled person of first group, a single disabled person of the second group and an elderly pensioner in need of outside help, an elderly person who has reached the age of eighty, a disabled child under the age of eighteen.
Submission of a court decision is not required if information about the receipt of a monthly state allowance assigned and paid to a mother or father, an adoptive parent, a guardian (trustee) raising a child with disability, a person caring for a person with a disability of the first group is available in the state information systems.
Documents confirming periods of military service, service in special state and law-enforcement agencies, state courier service (if any):
- an employment record;
- Military ID card;
- certificate confirming the period of military service issued by an archive;
- certificate issued by Defense Affairs Department or at the place of military service;
- extracts from orders confirming the emergence and termination of official relations based on the conclusion and termination of a military service contract;
- a document confirming the fact and period of residence abroad of a spouse of an employee of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international organization, spouse of military serviceman (except conscripts)/employee of special government agencies in areas where there was no possibility of employment in the specialty;
- documents confirming labour experience after January 1, 1998 in the Russian organizations of the Baikonur complex.
Documents confirming the employment periods of individuals with disabilities of the first and second groups until December 31, 2004, if the disability is established indefinitely (if any):
- an employment record;
- certificate from the place of work in the absence of an employment record or it being damaged, absence of relevant entries in an employment record, availability of corrections, inaccuracies, discrepancies;
- court decision.
Since January 1, 2005, the period of participation in the pension system of individuals with disabilities of the first and second groups, if the disability is established indefinitely and the periods of social contributions to the State Social Insurance Fund are counted based on information from the centralized database on transfer of social contributions.
The period of making mandatory contributions is confirmed by the data from the centralized database on transfer of mandatory pension contributions.
In case of incomplete or untimely transfer of mandatory pension contributions, the period of making mandatory pension contributions is confirmed (depending on their availability) by the following documents:
- a certificate issued by an employer (legal successor) on transfer of mandatory pension contributions in accordance with Appendix 5 or by an archive on transfer of mandatory pension contributions (provided that the periods of transfer of mandatory pension contributions correspond to the periods of employment specified in the documents confirming an applicant's work experience);
- a court decision confirming the period of transfer of mandatory pension contributions.

The period for which mandatory pension contributions were transferred by persons engaged in private practice, individuals receiving income under civil contracts, the subject of which is the performance of works (provision of services), except for the case provided for in subclause 5) of Clause 2 of Article 24 of the Law, as well as individual entrepreneurs who have made mandatory pension contributions in their favor, members (participants) and heads of peasant or farm farms, is equal to one year, provided that at least an annual amount of mandatory pension contributions payable for the relevant tax period is transferred to the Unified Pension Savings Fund.
If the amount of mandatory pension contributions made by these persons is less than an annual amount of mandatory pension contributions payable for a relevant tax period, the period for which mandatory pension contributions were transferred is determined in proportion to the amount of mandatory pension contributions made.
If mandatory pension contributions are transferred before July 1, 2006, the month preceding the month in which mandatory pension contributions were transferred is taken into account during the period of participation in the mandatory pension contributions.
If mandatory pension contributions have been transferred to the Pension Savings Fund and (or) the Unified Pension Savings Fund several times in one month, the period of participation in the savings system is one month.
Periods of labor, entrepreneurial activity, private practice by type of activity, to which, by decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the correction coefficient "0" was applied to the rates of mandatory pension contributions, mandatory occupational pension contributions approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, are confirmed by a certificate issued by an employer according to Appendix 5-1.
When receiving social benefits in case of loss of income due to restrictions on activities for the period of the state of emergency, restrictive measures are confirmed by information from a centralized database.
Submission of documents is not required if they can be obtained from state information systems, including from the Digital Documents service.
A service recipient can get information about an identity document, a birth certificate of a child (children) or an extract from a birth certificate (for registrations made on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan after August 13, 2007), a marriage certificate (for registrations made on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan after June 1, 2008), a certificate or notification on the death of children (according to registrations made on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan after May 1, 2008), a document on the establishment of guardianship (custodianship), a court decision on the adoption of a child (children) from a relevant state information system through the e-Gov Gateway.
When establishing guardianship (custodianship), a document confirming the establishment of guardianship (custodianship) is submitted.
When submitting documents drawn up in a foreign language, a notary attests the correctness of the translation of a document into Kazakh or Russian in accordance with subclause 9) clause 1 of Article 34, Article 80 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Notary".
