January 19, 2015On the egov portal, 18 992 131 abstracts of residential address were obtained by citizens in 2014, which is by 4.7 million more than in 2013 (14 316 266).
The online service, “Issuance of residential address abstracts” has been available on the egov.kz portal since 2010. According to statistics, the service is a permanent leader in top 10 most popular services on e-Government portal.
Residential address abstract is required when a person is being employed, obtaining a bank loan, or registered as an individual entrepreneur, private notary, judicial custodian, or lawyer; as well as at issuance of ID cards to stateless persons and of residence permits to foreigners permanently staying in Kazakhstan; at assignment of pensions, and in many other cases.
To obtain an abstract of residential address on the egov portal, you need to log in and press the “Order online service” button. Then you need to fill out the application form and sign it with your digital signature. The request shall be processed for no more than 10 minutes. You will find the issued abstract in the “History of services” section.
Note that since June 2014, citizens have been able to obtain such abstracts of residential address for not only themselves, but also for their children and spouses. When filling out the e-application, a user decides on who he/she will obtain the abstract for, and enters that person’s IIN. The system shall validate whether the identification number holder is indeed your child /spouse, and issue the abstract.
Besides the egov portal, this service can be obtained via the mobile application, eGov.kz, as well as in the citizen service centers.
