E-Gov users will manage to visit Judicial Office without authorization Printable version
January 6, 2015Today, representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Information Technologies JSC have discussed the issues of e-Gov (egov.kz) integration with the Supreme Court Judicial Office e-service (office.sud.kz).
The main achievement of this cooperation is the implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) mechanism, which implies a single authorization between information systems. Getting one of the three services, such as file a bill, apply for issuance of court record in electronic form or request on filing for court record, user can sign in without additional authorization. Now, one can authorize using only the e-Gov portal.
“Judicial Office information service was implemented in 2014 to develop the use of information technologies in courts. Therefore, the Supreme Court continues its work on implementation of modern technologies in judicial system, in order to maximize transparency and accessibility of judicial system for citizens” told the Head of the Department for support of court activities of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ispanov I.S.
At year-end, more than 105 thousand of applications were made via the portal and 85 thousand of that applications are bills of complaint. However, e-filing was implemented on e-Gov portal since 2011, though in minimal capability.
"SSO technology will provide a more user-friendly provision of e-services and will allow users not to insert data of their accounts repeatedly"explained the National Information Technologies JSC Chairman of the Board Yensebayev Ruslan. He noted that with the help of court system integration with citizens' mobile database which has more than 500 thousand users for today, the possibility will appear of sending different kinds of notifications.
The mechanism is one more step to make a court system more accessible and to provide a sustainable access. If Judicial Office e-service fails, it is possible to file a case or message via e-Gov portal. In addition, one can send a message both via e-Gov portal or Judicial Office.
