National Information Technologies JSC announces about prolongation of the competition among students for development of mobile application until October15, 2014.

Remind you, on September 12^th of the current year the company has announced about the starting of application acceptance to the competition among students for development of mobile application using the open data on the www.data.gov.kz  portal.

Eligible for participation in the competition are university students, regardless of age or enrollment status. Participants need to develop mobile applications for iOS (version 6+) or Android (version 4+) platforms using open data located on the data.gov.kz portal via API.

The Competition’s prize pool:

• 1^st  position – MacBook Air;
• 2^nd  position – Apple iPad Air;
• 3^rd  position – Apple iPad mini.

All developments are accepted until October 15, 2014, in evaluating, the idea’s originality, social importance, functionality and prospects of commercialization will be taken into account.
