Today in Kostanai, the National Information Technologies JSC’s Data Center was commissioned to operation. The Data Center launch ceremony was attended by Zarema Kurganbekova, Deputy CEO of “Zerde” Holding and Arman Abenov, the Head of Kostanai region Akim’s administration.

The Data Center is an infrastructure platform for the Republic of Kazakhstan’s e-Government at regional level, with backup to all vital engineering systems. This contemplates Data Center operation 24х7х365, operational continuity and resiliency of software/hardware systems at a rate of 99.749%, protection of hardware and customer data against unauthorized access and physical damages.

Currently, Data Center is providing the Colocation and Hosting services. . Colocation implies placement of government agencies’ hardware and renting the infrastructure. Hosting is a service related to providing capacities for information to be located on the server that is permanently active.

Data Center services will allow government agencies’ saving money in building the server infrastructure, equipping it and maintaining. The Data Center with total area of over 200 sq.m., is equipped with systems for power supply, air conditioning, automated gaseous fire suppression, security and fire alarm, CCTV, as well as the comprehensive monitoring and management system.

It should be reminded that National Information Technologies JSC’s Data Centers are launched as part of implementation of “Information Kazakhstan – 2020” Program and  National Program for Boosted Industrial/Innovation-based development.
