Tajikistan representatives have studied Kazakhstan’s best practices in building up e-Government Printable version
December 8, 2014Representatives from government agencies of the Republic of Tajikistan visited Astana to study the best practices in building up e-Government in Kazakhstan.
As part of the meeting with Tajik delegation, National Information Technologies JSC executives and staffs demonstrated the operation of e-Government portal, the e-workflow system, e-Licensing and e-Learning systems, and also shared Kazakhstan’s practices in implementing uniform technological policy in the field of informatization. The capital city guests were also told about the operation of the integrated information system of Citizen Cervice Centers.
According to Akmaljon Abdukhalikov, Deputy Rector for Research & International Relations, Public Administration Institute under President of the Republic of Tajikistan, a good deal of laws and regulations to enable e-Government operation have been adopted in Tajikistan, as well as in Kazakhstan, however, the mechanism for implementation thereof does not work to the full extent. “Kazakhstan has achieved significant results in this regard, and we hope to adopt your best practices”, he added.
National Information Technologies JSC Chairman of the Board Ruslan Yensebayev expressed readiness to render further methodological assistance to neighboring countries in building up and developing e-Government.
