When creating a new material, each journalist wants it to be interesting to many persons and helpful to at least one. The contest for the best highlighting of activities of Kazakhstan e-Government portal enables not only making this wish come true, but also being recognized and getting a pleasant gift.
Any Kazakhstan’s journalist or blogger may take part, whose material on eGov in Kazakh or Russian was on air or was published in 2013.
The selection is performed in five nominations:
- “Best TV Item”;
- “Best Radio Material”;
- “Best Material/Series of Materials in Printed or Web Media”;
- “Most Helpful Blog”;
- “Best Amateur Video”.
The winner in each category will be awarded a Letter of Merit and a laptop.
The best works will be identified by Jury voting, with the Jury comprising representatives from National Information technologies JSC, Ministry of Transport & Communications, and independent experts in mass media.
Not only direct highlighting of e-Government projects with accurate statistics and facts will be the criteria for evaluation of contest materials, but also the subject’s topicality for broad audience. It is also important to show the opinion of officials, developers, experts (both Kazakhstan’s and international ones), and consumers of e-services. Moreover, in the nominations such as “Most Helpful Blog”, and “Best Amateur Video Clip”, the jury, among other things, will pay special attention to artist’s approach and creativity in presenting the idea.
When submitting the works to contest, participants need to attach a scanned version of the published article, or audio/video record of the material, or the link to publication/blog/video-record on the Web.
Materials are to be sent in electronic format to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Acceptance will be through November 7, 2013. You may find out the status of your material by calling +7 (7172) 74-05-96.
