One in four applications for marriage registration is submitted online in Kazakhstan this year - this was spoken about by Dinara Murzabekova, Director of Promotion & Marketing Department in “National Information Technologies” JSC, in her report at the Regional Seminar of International Telecommunication Union for CIS countries.
The subject of the event that finished yesterday in Moscow was: “e-government development as one of conditions for integration into global information society”.
One of the seminar’s panels, “Government for citizens” dealt with improving the openness, transparency, and efficiency of public administration activities. These are quite the objectives set by Kazakhstan e-Government.
Currently, 100% licenses are being issued online in the country, and all companies are registering their businesses via Internet. To date, since the year-beginning, over 19 thousand legal entities have been registered via egov portal.
This year, all socially-important services will be transferred to electronic format. Thanks to optimization and automation, there is no need to submit more than 40 million documents per year for obtaining such services.
Every day, the egov.kz portal is visited by about 45 thousand users, with the number of services delivered having increased 3.5 times in comparison with last year.
