To obtain a contract amendment when transferring the right for subsoil use or a share in the right for subsoil use
- Application on transfer of the right for subsoil use (shares in the right for subsoil use).
- An amendment to the subsoil use contract signed by a service recipient in 3 (three) copies.
- A copy and original of a document based on which the right for subsoil use is acquired (for verification).
- Copies and originals of the documents.
Supporting information about an acquirer of the right for subsoil use (shares in the right for subsoil use) (for verification):
- Documents confirming an acquirer's compliance with the requirements of the Code.
- Written consent of a pledgee, if the right for subsoil use (share in the right for subsoil use) is encumbered with a pledge.
- Written consent of all the joint holders of the right for subsoil use.
- A positive decision of a service provider issued based on the recommendations of expert commission on subsoil use issues, which is an advisory body to the service provider making recommendations when considering applications and acting on the basis of the requirements of Article 45 and Clause14 of Article 277 of the Code.
To obtain a contract amendment when changing information about a service recipient
- Application to change information about a service recipient.
- Documents confirming the need to make changes to the information about a service recipient.
- A contract amendment signed by a service recipient in 3 (three) copies providing for introduction of changes to the information about a service recipient.

To obtain a contract amendment when assigning a mining site(s) and pre-production period
- Application on assigning a mining site and pre-production period(s).
- A contract amendment signed by a service recipient providing for assignment of pre-production period(s) and containing an annex indicating mining site(s) in accordance with Article 110 of the Code in 3 (three) copies.
- The report on estimates of volumes in-place approved by a service recipient, which received a positive conclusion of the state expert review.
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the recommendations of expert commission.
To obtain a contract amendment when assigning a site and production period
- Application on assigning a site(s) and production period(s).
- A contract amendment signed by a service recipient providing for assignment of a site(s) and production period(s), with the exception of those cases stipulated by Clause 7 of Article 119 of the Code. Also, for the purpose of mining site(s) assignment, a contract amendment should contain an annex to the contract indicating mining site(s) in accordance with Article 110 of the Code in 3 (three) copies.
- The report on estimates of volumes in-place approved by a service recipient, which received a positive conclusion of the state expert review.
- Deposit development project approved by a service recipient, which received positive conclusions provided for by the Code and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the recommendations of expert commission.
To obtain a contract amendment when extending an exploration period
- Application to make changes to a subsoil use contract in connection with exploration period extension.
- A signed program of additional works approved by a service recipient and containing scope, description and terms of additional works that a service recipient undertakes to perform on a relevant subsoil area in the event of an exploration period extension.
A contract amendment signed by a service recipient in 3 (three) copies, providing for:
- In cases provided for in Clauses 2 and 3 of Article 117 of the Code, an annex to a contract establishing an exploration site(s) that consists of units within which the alleged contours of discovered deposit (a set of deposits) are located, including establishing of boundaries for an exploration site(s) in depth in accordance with Article 110 of the Code.
- Commitment of a service recipient to implement the program of additional works specified in the third paragraph of this subparagraph and attached to a contract as an integral part thereof.
- In case provided for by Clause 2 of Article 117 of the Code, an amendment to an exploration plan approved by a service recipient, which received positive conclusions of the expert evaluations provided for by the Code and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan containing works on the assessment of a discovered deposit (a set of deposits).
- In case provided for by Clause 3 of Article 117 of the Code, a pilot operation project approved by a service recipient which received positive conclusions of the expert evaluations provided for by the Code and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the recommendations of expert commission.
To obtain a contract amendment when extending an extraction period
- Application to make changes to a subsoil use contract in connection with extraction period extension.
A contract amendment signed by a service recipient providing for extraction period extension in 3 (three) copies, containing:
- A program of additional works approved by a service recipient and containing scope, description and terms of additional works that a service recipient undertakes to perform on a relevant subsoil area in the event of an extraction period extension.
- Deposit development project approved by a service recipient, which received positive conclusions provided for by the Code and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which provides for a deposit exploration during a requested period of extension.
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the recommendations of expert commission.
To obtain a contract amendment when extending an uranium mining period
- Application to make changes to a subsoil use contract in connection with uranium mining period extension.
- Uranium deposit development project approved by a service recipient, which received positive conclusions provided for by the Code and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which provides for a deposit exploration during a requested period of extension.
In case if on the date of an application submission for production period extension a contract corresponds to the standard uranium mining contract approved by a service provider then a contract amendment to an uranium mining contract is concluded within one month from the date of decision-making on mining period extension.
In case if on the date of submission of application for extension of the period of extraction, a contract does not comply with a current model contract approved by a service provider, then a contract in new edition is concluded between a subsoil user and a provider within two months from the date of decision-making on the extension of a uranium mining contract developed based on the standard uranium mining contract approved by the Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of June 11, 2018 No. 233 (registered in the Register of state registration of laws and regulations under No. 17140) in 3 (three) copies).
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the recommendations of expert commission.

To obtain a contract amendment in connection with extension of subsoil plot(s)
- Application to make changes to a subsoil use contract in connection with subsoil plot(s) extension or reduction.
- A contract amendment signed by a service recipient in 3 (three) copies containing an annex to a contract establishing an extended subsoil plot(s) in accordance with Article 110 of the Code or a service recipient commitment to implement a program of additional works specified in Clause 3 of Article 113 and attached to a contract as an integral part thereof.
- When a subsoil plot is extended, the program of additional works approved by a service recipient and containing the scope, description and terms for the work that a service recipient undertakes to perform on a requested subsoil plot proportionally corresponding to the minimum requirements for the scope and types of work on a subsoil plot during the exploration period which were established when a service recipient received the right for subsoil use.
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the recommendations of expert commission.
- Original documents or notarized copies of documents certifying the authorities of a service recipient to sign an application.
To obtain a contract amendment to uranium mining contract in connection with extension of subsoil plot(s)
- Application to make changes to a subsoil use contract in connection with subsoil plot(s) extension or reduction.
- A contract amendment signed by a service recipient in 3 (three) copies, providing for extension of subsoil plot.
- Reserves report issued by an authorized individual for a requested plot.
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the requirements of Article 45 and Clause 14 of Article 277 of the Code.
- Original documents or notarized copies of documents certifying the authorities of a service recipient to sign an application.
To obtain a contract amendment in connection with reduction of subsoil plot(s)
- Application to make changes to a subsoil use contract in connection with subsoil plot(s) reduction.
- A contract amendment signed by a service recipient in 3 (three) copies containing an annex to a contract establishing a reduced subsoil plot(s) in accordance with Article 110 of the Code and attached to a contract as an integral part thereof specified in Article 114 of the Code.
- A copy of subsoil use consequences rectification act for a returned subsoil plot(s).
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the requirements of Article 45 and Clause 14 of Article 277 of the Code.
- Original documents or notarized copies of documents certifying the authorities of a service recipient to sign an application.
To obtain a contract amendment to uranium mining contract in connection with reduction of subsoil plot(s)
- Application to make changes to a subsoil use contract in connection with subsoil plot(s) reduction.
- A copy of subsoil use consequences rectification act for a returned subsoil plot.
- A contract amendment signed by a subsoil user providing for the reduction of subsoil plot in 3 (three) copies.
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the requirements of Article 45 and Clause 14 of Article 277 of the Code.

To obtain a contract amendment when allocating a subsoil plot
- Application for allocation of a subsoil plot.
- A contract amendment signed by a service recipient in 3 (three) copies containing an annex to the contract establishing a reduced subsoil plot in accordance with Article 110 of the Code, as well as information specified in Article 115 of the Code.
- A contract for exploration and production or extraction of hydrocarbons signed by a service recipient and developed based on a standard contract approved by the Order No. 233 of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of June 11, 2018 (registered in the Register of state registration of laws and regulations under No. 17140) in 3 (three) copies.
- A copy of positive decision of a service provider issued based on the recommendations of expert commission.
- Original documents or notarized copies of documents certifying the authorities of a service recipient to sign an application.
