Today, the following employment assistance measures are provided for graduates under "The National Project for the Development of Entrepreneurship for 2021-2025" (hereinafter – the National Project).

Youth apprenticeship

To assist graduates in getting an initial work experience in a chosen profession (specialty), employment centers arrange an assistance measure known as youth apprenticeship for up to 12 months.

Pursuant to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Public Employment”, unemployed individuals, who graduated from educational organizations within 3 preceding years and not older than 29 years old can participate in youth apprenticeship.    

Jobs for youth apprenticeship are created at organizations of all property forms. Thus, jobs should correspond to a profession (specialty) obtained by a graduate at an educational organization.   

Monthly amount of salary per month equals to 30 MCI, including taxes, mandatory pension contributions and other social payments. 

To participate in youth apprenticeship, a graduate needs to contact an employment center at the place of residence and submit an application. Copies of the following documents are enclosed to an application:

1. ID document.
2. Employment record (if available).
3. Document certifying availability of technical/professional/postsecondary/higher and postgraduate education.  

“Fist job” project

The employment centers arrange job placement for unemployed youth to enhance competitiveness of the youth on the labour market and provide them with the required working skills and opportunity to adapt at a first job.   

Job placement under the “First job” project is arranged for graduates (including university graduates) searching for the first job and who are unemployed, not older than 29 years old, including NEET category, haven`t got experience,  and also regardless of  registration at employment centers.   

Job placement of graduates searching the first job under the “First job” project is performed in compliance with profession (specialty) indicated in diploma on professional training or similar area. 

Under the “First job” project, an employer provides the National Project participant with permanent job for no less than 24 months based on a contract with an employment center, while an employment center subsidizes salary for the first year of work.  

A subsidy amount out of local budget per month is 30 MCI (including taxes, mandatory social contributions, compensations for an unused annual leave and bank services) exclusive of payments related to ecological extra charges.

To participate in the “First job” project, an applicant needs to contact an employment center at the place of residence and submit an application. Copies of the following documents are enclosed to an application:

1. ID document.
2. Educational certificate (if available).

“Generations Contract” project

Under introduction of further measures to assist job-seekers and the unemployed, including graduates of educational organizations, employment centers arrange job placement of the National Project participants with subsequent substitution of employers who reached retirement based on the employers` requests.    

Under the “Generations Contract” project, an employer provides a “Yenbek” program participant with permanent job for no less than 18 months based on a contract with an employment center, while an employment center subsidizes salary within 6 months of work.   

A subsidy amount out of local budget per month is 30 MCI (including taxes, mandatory social contributions, compensations for an unused annual leave and bank services) exclusive of payments related to ecological extra charges.

To participate in the “Generations Contract” project, an applicant needs to contact an employment center at the place of residence and submit an application. Copies of the following documents are enclosed to an application:

1. ID document.
2. Educational certificate (if available).
3. Employment record (if available).
