How to get the service online
- Sign in on the Portal and click "Order Service Online" button.
- Fill in an application and sign it using a digital signature or SMS password (it is mandatory to have registration in the Mobile Citizens Database). It is necessary to obtain consent from an owner of the housing confirmed by DS (if an applicant is not the owner of the housing). It is necessary to obtain consent from the co-owners of the housing, confirmed by DS (if an applicant is not the sole owner of the housing).
- In your personal account (in "History of Obtained Services" section) familiarize with a notification on application processing status, which will be sent within the specified time.
Application approval is carried out within 1 (one) hour from the moment of its registration.
If approval is not provided within the specified time, the application is automatically rejected.

Children under 14 years of age are not subject to registration at their place of residence.
In accordance with paragraph 3 of the Rules of registration of internal migrants (approved by RK Government resolution No. 1427 dated 01.12.2011 year), registration at the place of residence shall be citizens under the age of 14.
In accordance with subparagraph 3) of Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Status of the Capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, the Maslikhat of Astana adopted the Resolution No. 368/48-VIII as of December 26, 2025 “On Approval of the Registration Standard for Permanent and Temporary Residence (Accommodation) within the Territory of Astana”, establishing the housing occupancy standard per registered resident within the capital.
The registration standard for permanent and temporary residence (accommodation) within the territory of Astana has been set at no less than 15 (fifteen) square meters of usable living space per person.
In accordance with paragraph 4 of the Order No. 677 of the Acting Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of September 9, 2024, registration within the territory of the capital in excess of the established standards is prohibited, except in cases where the homeowner registers a spouse, in-laws, close relatives, their spouses and children, persons under their guardianship or custodianship, as well as students studying full-time in the capital, provided that no other persons not belonging to the above-mentioned categories are already registered at the relevant dwelling.
