Central branch of State Corporation on Social and Pension Provision Activities Coordination (formerly State Pension Center), that has been established in 1997, is one of the main institutional structures in the pension provision system and an important element of the country's financial and social infrastructure. There are specialists employed who had experience in the banking, financial, and social spheres in the Central Branch of State Corporation on Social and Pension Activities Coordination.

The Central Branch of State Corporation Social and Pension Activities Coordination established for the purpose of pension reform implementation, currently it has been performing multiple state-significance functions in the social and financial system of the Republic.

In general, the following has been administering at present: solidary pension system, accumulative pension system along with single aggregate payment, compulsory social insurance, and compulsory health insurance. There are more than 6 million payments in the solidarity pension system a month proceeded, also personalized registration of more than 6.5 million payers in the accumulative pension system, more than 6 million participants in the social insurance system and more than 6 million participants in the compulsory social health insurance system. The number of payers of the single aggregate payment amounted to about 1 million. Social and Labor Information and Consulting Services Provision Department (Contact Center) of the Central Branch of State Corporation Social and Pension Provision Activities Coordination provides social and labor informational and consulting services:

  • pension, social security and social insurance;
  • labor relations and population employment;
  • large family monthly allowance;
  • targeted social assistance;
  • other issues within the competence of authorized body for labor and social protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
