How to register website under the domain KZ

To register a domain in the KZ zone, one needs to go to the KazNIC company website (nic.kz) and make sure that a name one wants to register is not already occupied by someone else. Then, one can register a domain name of a government agency and institution, including in the .GOV.KZ zone in National Information Technologies JSC.

Under the KZ Domain Management Center project, a system of a Single registrar of domain names of government agencies and institutions in the gov.kz zone was created at National Information Technologies JSC.

Pursuant to the Order of the Kazakhstani Association of IT Companies as of December 22, 2020 No. 29-12-2020-A, National Information Technologies JSC has the right to carry out official registration and support of domain names of government agencies and institutions in the following zones: .KZ, .GOV.KZ, .EDU.KZ, .ҚАЗ, .MEM.ҚАЗ, .БІЛ.ҚАЗ.

To date, more than 5.000 domain names are supported by the Single Registrar of National Information Technologies JSC. Detailed information is available on the website: www.reg.gov.kz
