How to get the service at State agency or at «State-owned corporation «Government for citizens» NJSC (required documents):
- Application.
- Document identifying the personality.
- Copy of the certificate of marriage (matrimony) of the parents (when registering the act outside the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the absence of information in the civil registry office).
- Notary certified procuration in case of service recipient’s representative’s addressing.
Foreigners, and persons without citizenship in additionally represent:
- Foreigner permanently residing in the Republic of Kazakhstan shall present a residence permit for a foreigner in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Stateless person permanently residing in the Republic of Kazakhstan shall present a stateless person's identity card with a mark from the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan on registration at the place of residence.
- Foreigner or stateless person temporarily staying in the Republic of Kazakhstan shall present a document certifying his / her identity issued by the competent authorities of the country of which the foreigner is a citizen or of the state of permanent residence of the stateless person and a notarized translation of their text in Kazakh or Russian.
The accuracy of the translation of the text of documents certifying the identity of a foreigner or a stateless person can be attested in a diplomatic mission or consular office or in the foreign Ministry of the state of which the foreigner is a citizen, or the state of permanent residence of the stateless person.
The application for state registration of the birth of a child who has reached one year or more is additionally accompanied by a medical birth certificate (if it is not available in electronic form).
The list of necessary documents for making changes, additions and corrections to the birth certificate (except for making changes, additions when establishing paternity (motherhood), adoption when applying at «State-owned corporation «Government for citizens» NJSC
- Application for making changes, additions and corrections.
- ID card (for identification purposes).
- Birth certificate, in case of loss, indicate its loss and information about the state registration of the civil status act.
- Copies of certificates of state registration of civil status issued outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, legalized or stamped with apostille, with a notarized translation into Russian or the state language, confirming the need to make changes, additions and corrections to the birth certificate.
- Information about documents confirming the need to make changes, additions and corrections (information about acts of civil status registered on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, information about the court decision to make changes, corrections, additions, establishing a legal fact, etc.).
- Document confirming payment of the state fee to the budget or a document that is the basis for granting tax benefits (if necessary, payment of it).
- Notary certified procuration in case of service recipient’s representative’s addressing.

- Application for establishing paternity (motherhood), for establishing paternity at the request of a person who recognizes himself as the father of a child, for establishing paternity by court decision, for adoption of a child, for making changes, additions and corrections in the form according to Appendix 8, 9, 10, 12, 24 to the Rules (depending on the basis of making changes, additions and corrections).
- ID card (for identification purposes).
- Birth certificate, in case of loss, indicate its loss and information about the state registration of the civil status act.
- Information about documents confirming the need to make changes, additions and corrections (information about the court decision on adoption, establishment of paternity; about the court decision to cancel or recognize the adoption as invalid; when establishing paternity, documents confirming the circumstances of the absence of the mother, depending on the grounds specified in the application of the father: information about the registration of the civil status act on the death of the mother (on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan); information about the court's decision to recognize the mother as incapacitated, to declare her dead, to deprive or restrict the mother of parental rights; a certificate of inability to establish the mother's place of residence, information about the court's decision to make changes, corrections, additions, to establish a legal fact, etc.).
- Copies of certificates of state registration of civil status issued outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, legalized or stamped with apostille, with a notarized translation into Russian or the state language, confirming the need to make changes, additions and corrections to the birth certificate.

If an application is submitted to establish paternity before the birth of the child, a medical certificate confirming the mother's pregnancy issued by a medical organization or private practitioner.
If paternity is established simultaneously with the state registration of birth, the child's birth certificate is not required.

Birth certificate, repeated birth certificate with amendments, additions and corrections, or a reasoned response to the refusal to provide public services.
