Acquisition of pedigree breeding animals is subsidized only where the agricultural producer has breeding female stock, except for breeding centers and feedlots transferring pedigree bulls on lease to commercial herds/farms.

Acquisition of pedigree animals of all species (except pedigree day-old young stock of parent and grandparent meat-type poultry lines, day-old young stock of final egg-type lines obtained from pedigree poultry, and pedigree pigs) is subsidized within the approved standard, but not exceeding 50% of the purchase cost.
Acquisition of semen of pedigree bulls of dairy/dairy-beef and beef/beef-dairy breeds is subsidized up to 50% of the purchase cost, but not exceeding the established standard.
Subsidies under the heading “Reduction of Feed Cost Expenses for Agricultural Livestock” are granted upon declaration of a natural or man-made emergency in accordance with Article 48 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'On Civil Protection", or upon occurrence of abnormal weather conditions adversely affecting feed harvesting in the region, confirmed by a weather conditions certificate issued by Kazhydromet under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This requirement is not applied to breeding female livestock in Atyrau region, Mangystau region, Kyzylorda region, and Ulytau region.
Subsidization under the heading “Reduction of Feed Cost Expenses for Agricultural Livestock” is carried out subject to the allocation of additional funds from the local budget and/or redistribution from other budget programs and/or availability of sufficient allocated budget funds.
Note: * subject to the allocation of additional funds from the local budget and/or redistribution from other budget programs and/or availability of sufficient allocated budget funds, the current subsidy standard under the heading “Reduction of Production and Processing Costs of Camel Milk” may be increased from KZT 55 to KZT 190, depending on the amount of allocated budget funds, upon approval by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan in State Subsidy Information System.
