Apply for the Internet access via eGov Mobile app Printable version
May 16, 2024The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry in cooperation with Kazakhtelecom JSC and National Information Technologies JSC launched a new «Internet connection» service in the eGov Mobile application. Now users can check the availability of network infrastructure, apply for the Internet access and submit a request via the application, which automatically forwards it to Kazakhtelecom JSC, so that a citizen can get the services at the registration address.
To use the service in eGov Mobile app, one needs to:
- On the homepage, in the «Services» section, click «Other services» and select «Internet connection» from the list;
- An information message will be displayed regarding the available Internet connection, lack of connectivity and availability/absence of registered real estate.
Upon availability of technical capability for the Internet connection and real estate or if there is no technical capability but you have a real estate registered to your name:
- On the page that opens, select the rate and click «Apply»;
- Check the relevance of information on the next page and click «Continue»;
- Complete the verification (captcha) and click «Confirm» (appears if additional verification is required);
- Your request has been accepted.
If there is no technical capability and real estate is not registered to your name: grant access to your full name, IIN, date of birth, phone number and e-mail by clicking «Allow» button;
- On the page that opens, select the rate and click «Apply»;
- Next, a page will open where you need to specify a city, street, house number and click «Confirm»;
- Complete the verification (captcha) and click «Confirm» (appears if additional verification is required)
- Your request has been accepted.
After a request acceptance, an SMS will be sent to a phone number specified by a user containing a request number and link for status tracking.
«Today, the eGov Mobile app is an ecosystem of public services available to the citizens through mobile communication devices. A wide range of services are available in the mobile app, such as eOtinish, eNotary, video CSC and others. The new service will enable citizens applying for the Internet connection using the mobile app,» said Dmitriy Mun, Acting Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.
If there are no optical lines in your house or apartment, Kazakhtelecom JSC specialists will contact you within an hour after a request submission to offer alternative options.
